Darkness on nose

Darkness on nose

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I used to pick white heads on my nose...but one omnious day my nose starts peeling its skin on its own and turning somewhat darker...which left me with a dark horizontal line on my nose...it had been there for 1 year had faded a little...but i want to know does it requires treatment or the line fade away on its own...???

Hi...the dark line you are talking about will be mostly post inflammatory hyperpigmentation...sometimes it goes even without any treatment if it is superficial but not always..so you need to consult a dermatologist who will examine and will let you know if any treatment is required. But the most important thing you need to do is start using a good sunscreen with spf 25 to 30..
