Dark patches on face
I have dark patches around the corner of mouth and other parts of face similar to melasma. It hasn't gone away for years of using prescribed creams. I also get dark patches on forehead in winters due to dry skin. those patches stick like a layer and dont go away. They reduce when weather warms up. Pls suggest a remedy.

Hi. Greetings. You seem to have a weird kind of a pigmentation disorder which needs to be diagnosed under consultation of a dermatologist. Based on your history, I get a feeling that you may be an atopic individual. Please use a sun screen regularly. Avoid cosmetic creams for now. Use a moisturizer at bed time. Hope this helps while you plan a visit to your dermatologist.
