Cyst in pancreas

Asked for Female, 54 Years

Sonography detected 2 small cysts in the pancreas. The local family doctor said there is no immediate problem. We need further consultancy if more tests like ct scan etc are required or its OK.

It depends on what clinical issue you are facing. Why was the sono done? Additional tests of pancreatic & liver function may help in association with the clinical setting of the sono. Randomly ct scan will not be of much use, and if it was just a routine sono it may be harmless.
