Cut on my 7 days new born baby nail
While cutting the nails of my 1 month old baby I mistakenly cut a little bit of skin of one of his fingers..a little blood came out..I cleaned the area Nd applied an antiseptic ointment.. by I am worried that weather i should get him a tetanus vaccine or not.

As Scheduled..... vaccination start At 6, week......which contains tetanus.....u can start as routine.. vaccination....

Nothing to worry. Give first dose of pentavalent vaccine at 1.5 month it covers tetanus

if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule. if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.
