My father has been infected with Covid , initially crp levels were 14 and after treatment of 5 days it became normal. But again yesterday he got fever and now crp is back to 14. Does fever increases crp levels? Doctor tells if fever is there it will increase.
Is it because of fever or I have to see the options of admitting him again.

Yes , fever and especially viral (covid) fever causes high crp levels, it will take 2 to 3 months to come to normal, if he does not have any symptoms and his chest ct scans is normal , then there will not be any complications , and he may not require any hospitalisation
CRP is an inflammatory marker and can increase during fever and other inflammatory conditions. CRP may remain high for 1-2 months in post covid patients
