Cow's milk is not recommended to infants atleast until they reach 1 year. Recent studies in  show kids introduced to Cow's milk early have higher chances of developing Diabetes & Hypertension later on in life. Cow's milk proptiein has more of Casein & less of Whey, while human milk contains more of Whey & less of Casein. These days formula feeds have evolved with better quality of protiens closer to breast milk. Breast feeding is gold standard. If not possible, next best option is to give formula feeds until atleast 1 year. If your child is having diarrhea with formula, consult a Pediatrician &  try a different formula. Soya milk can also be considered if persistent problem with different formula feeds. Hope this answers your query.
