Cough since 3 months
Hi, my dad is suffering from cough since 3 months. We consulted with several doctors and taking medicine, but symptoms is not improving. He is diabetic patient. Due to severe cough he is getting pain in chest area and hip area. Over examination, doctors said chest seems to be clear. Any suggestions plz.

Dear Friend,
From the information that you have provided I infer two reason for your father's problem, one is due to cardiac cause ( very common in diabetics), other can be due to acid reflux from stomach. I suggest you see a cardiologist, if there is nothing wrong with his heart, then get an upper GI endoscopy done.
