Cough n cold with mild fever from 10 day
Hi ,
My cold n cough is blocking my ears and swelling is there in eyes with regular mud from 2 days ...Although the nose is clear .
Sputum color is yellow ...After 5 days it stopped coming today afternoon ..
I am taking dolo 650 and honeytus syrup.
Along with this ,
I was taking my allergy related medicine
Unicontin 400, mondeslor, prevent dt.
Tests were done for x ray , CBC , nft ...All were normal.
Please suggest.

You seem to be suffering from eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold. Cause for cough seems to be post viral cough which is common type of dry cough syndrome after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days. You can use dry cough syrups, strepsils like lozenges and steam inhalation for faster recovery
