Hello since past three days my baby has cough and has temperature. During daytime once or twice there is rise in temperature and at night at around 2 am his temperature rises. I have been giving g d coryl cough syrup and xt para. Today is fourth day and again at 2 am he had a temperature. Should I continue the dose or take him to pediatrician? Please advise.

You should show it to your pediatrician. As temperature and cough worsening at night is something to worry about. Whether he had Lower respiratory tract infection with wheezing needs to be checked.

all virals usually are getting better by day 3-4 .now as your babies cough and fever is worsening on day 4 then its all the more prudent to meet a doctor ,you might just be missing something that he might help you with and one thing more these syrups-i mean over the counter cough syrups at times make the respiratory secretions so dry that the childs cough worsens because of giving meds so in such situations actaminophen and honey are better than otc drugs.
You should get the child examined by a pediatrician.
