CONTRAST INDUCED NEUROTOXICITY OT TIA
Myself, pritam Biswas was prescribed colonoscopy under IV sedation and ct enterography and hrct throax  for ibd diagnosis by gastroenterologist. Colonoscopy was done by injecting iv sedation and at night i felt severe headache and fever and the next day while technician did the ct enterography by oral contrast and injecting intravenous contrast, after 30 minutes i felt severe shaking of entire body around 40 minutes , followed by intense vomiting,slurred speech,muscle weakness and severe dizziness. The symptoms resolve within one day. I have also allergic rhinitis and vestibular migraine. Next day i consulted with a neurologist, after consultation he diagnosed that these incidents are occured by contrast induced allergy and NEUROTOXICITY. Is it an apt diagnosis or have i mini stroke? I am in bit confusion. Please give suggestions
