Continues hair thinning
My 10 year old has been facing a lot of hair fall from the past 2 years. I got worried and checked her bloodwork and everything is fine except her D3 is very low. We got medication for that but is that the only reason for hair fall in 10 year old. ? She eats well, she is active and happy child. Not sure what's causing the hair thinning.

Start with good protein intake. Good protein diet will help to improve hair health. Hormonal changes, stress , poor diet etc usually cause hairfall issues.

Vitamin D is also important for hair growth and maintenance. If it is deficient it can cause hair fall but that might not be the only cause , but if the child is otherwise healthy and active with healthy skin , there should not be much to worry. Will need a better history to rule out other causes of hair fall.
