Constant headache with muscle and joint.
Had very hi fevers in June with sweat and extreme weight loss. Thought it was west Nile. Blood test showed me posistive for salmonella typhi (typhoid fever). Treated symptoms and did rounds of antibiotics. Didn't get better so they ran more tests and my igm titers where positive for brucellosis. Received doxy rifampin, picc line rocefin for 8 weeks. Completed treatment in October but still feel bad. A lot of aches and head aches. Numbness and tingling in arms and weight loss. They say this could be post brucella myalgias. Side not I did deliver over 50 still born or orborted or low calf birth calfs last spring. So it makes since. So they are trying another round of antibiotics. They have me on maxalt, norco, fiorinal, it's brings the aches down a little but never takes the pain. Should I be patient?

yes, you need patience. the doctors have already done so much, seems like they are trying their best. Also , some cases are complicated by multiple infection and do tend to take time. But you are on the right track. please continue with the treatment
