Confused with studies
Hello, I've some strange kind of problem with my studies. I've many backlogs, but still I want to study reaching in depth of every topic. I feel I should study 12 th basic before I put my hands on btech subjects. I used to have thoughts like :- "I should get in depth of topic It's not required, I should just mug up I've many backlogs I should read from this book No, i should read from college notes. Oh god, I'm taking too much time, I should've done this chapter by now Maybe, I've some psychological problem, that's why I'm not able to study. Oh god, maybe I'm too busy thinking about my crush, that's why I'm not able to study I've wasted 4 years by now, many great scientists hade some discoveries by this age. Why no one is taking to me , I'm really mentally ill"

Hello, wanting to study in depth is generally is good habit, but when it is deviating you from studying the important things that you should be studying, it can become a problem. From what you've told me, it's seems that you are subconsciously avoiding the task at hand by giving the excuse that you want to study the basics first. This is what we call a "defense mechanism". Also, there may be an issue of procrastination. Both of these issues can be resolved by counselling and psychotherapy.
Next Steps
Take an appointment with counselling psychologist.
