I am 45 year old lady. My MRI report of left shoulder says Complete tear of supraspinatus tendon at its insertion with grade I retraction of tendon ends. Distance between tendon ends being 0.8cm
Does this could be recovered by physiotherapy?? Or surgery is must??

Generally symptoms improve with physiotherapy but at your age it's better to get shoulder arthroscopy done..repair of tendon. Till now retraction not much. So surgery will have very good results
