Complete tear of ACL.
Met with accident 3 weeks back. Complete ACL tear. Been on meds and going through physiotherapy sessions from 3 weeks. Whether to go for operation and how much will be the cost of it as well as recovery time.

Physiotherapy will be needed in any case pre operative as well as post so as to keep the muscles and joints functioning.
In case of complete tear kindly go for arthroscopic repair of the acl ASAP.

You must undergo the surgical procedure. as it not only strengthen the stability of the knee but also provide a permanent fixture to the problem which further if not treated in time may result in bio-mechanical damage to your knee, hip, ankle and spine JOINTS. Cost would be different from hospital to hospital and doctor to doctor. I suggest you to go to a good hospital with inhouse physiotherapeutic services.
Recovery time if everything goes well. should not take more than 4-6 weeks.

Sir, since you are an young man, you should definitely consult an orthopedic surgeon for surgery. The cost differ from place to place and institution to institution.
