COLD SORE?
I have a red spot on my top lip where my cold sore was, is it still contagious? I've had a cold sore recently that lasted 12 days. It scabbed already and the scab fell off but there's still a red spot where it was. I'm still applying Acyclovir in hopes of making it disappear. Please help get rid of it because I have an important meeting in two days.

Usually cold sores heal on their own and no treatment is required. Repeated applications of medication may irritate the skin there

Most of cold  sores, are viral in nature and doesnt require any medication. After 7days they heal up once infection subsides.
