Hi, steam can be given twice or thrice a day depending upon severity of nose block; keep a little distance between child and steam container, too hot fumes may cause damage

Give lukewarm water or milk, rather than solid feeds give him more of soups and puree
You can apply Vicks Vaporub
Keep room temperature at 26-28degree and humid

Three times a day should suffice. You can roast ajwain and put a potli on his chest while sleeping. Give food which is nutritious and builds immunity.
