Ciprofloxacin eye drops for newborn
I have given my newborn Ciprofloxacin eyedrop 3times a day..for one month...as my baby girl has watery eyes with white discharge..doctor told me to give it for one month...now I found on net it should be avoided in babies less than one year.. .I m worried as I gave Ciprofloxacin to my newborn for one month 3times a day..is it harmful for baby? What could be the side effects of long term use of this medicine on newborn?

Stop eye drops and keep good local hygiene. Do not worry. It is a lesson against anti- biotic abuse.
