Ciplox eyedrop for newborn
Newborn had been given ciplox eyedrop for one month( 3times a day)..for blocked tear duct...I found on net it should not be used in neonates...what could be it's harmful effects on newborn as I used it on baby's eyes for one month at a stretch..?

Ciprofloxacin should be best avoided in kids. Tobramycin eyedrops and ointment are comparatively safe for use in children.
