Chronic Obesity and Inflammation
I have been overweight most of my life. I am 6 feet tall weighing around 100 KG now. I have mild hypothyroid. My immune system dampened over the time making me vulnerable towards catching diseases... already suffered from dengue, covid etc.I have Non-Alcoholic Fatty liver grade 1. I start my diet and exercise regimen.. lose weight and then go back to my rotten lifestyle and get back all the weight. I want to lose my weight forever now. It will take much discipline, hard work, consistency... I am ready for that. One thing that keeps me off from consulting dieticians is the way they charge.Their colorful exquisite diet charts is pure business. Unethically overpriced. Lots of water, small meals with complex carbs, protein, fiber etc. Consuming green veg and seasonal fruits, quinoa, Ragi, millets etc. we all know this. I need a dietician who will not try to sell any package to me. It turns me off. Anyone who charges reasonably, I would like to consult.

For losing weight in a healthy and permanent way : 1. Maintain meal gaps: maintain meal gaps of not more than 3 hours is very important. It boosts up the metabolism and helps in weight loss. 2. Include dandelion tea in your diet, consume it 2-3 times. You can buy it online easily. 3. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet in the form of smoothies and soups. 4. Walk atleast 10k steps a day. 5. Drink infused water: chop your fav fruits and herbs in water and enjoy.

If you have followed a dietitian in the past then you dont need the service again. The answer to your question is in the question itself. You accepted that after sometime you go back to old lifestyle and weight bounces back. This means you need self motivation. You need to stick to the healthy lifestyle and have cheat day once or twice a week. Whole Grains, Leafy vegetables, Seasonal Fruits, Nuts and Seeds, lean protein are core of any diet plan. Along with diet daily physical activity is equally important, this could in the form of walking, cycling or gym exercise. People these days lose motivation because they expect overnight change but inreality weight loss miracles do not happen overnight. Just set a practical goal for yourself and stick to the plan. 20% here and there is acceptable. If you slip one day due to any reason then try to cover it next day by doing extra physical activity. Losing weight depends on right diet and self motivation. If you are self motivated, no one can stop you from losing weight. I have helped many people to lose more then 40 to 50 kg and they had one thing in common and that is dedication and self discipline.
