Chipped tooth
I have chipped my front incisor about 1 and 1/2 year ago and got dental bonding just 1 month before and it broke off. After that I'm not willing to get bonding again and want to get a more permanent method and that is "Stem cells" of tooth. So please guide me.

Hello, visit a dentist and get your check up done. if required get an X-ray done. if there is an infection to roots get your treatment done. you can go for ceramic or composite veneers or a crown.

The permanent solution to this will be a crown or a veneer. Stem cell is still under research and used to grow missing teeth. Ideally a permanent crown is recommended at age of 14 and above beacause your jaw growth is complete. Till that time you get a composite build filling which can be later replaced by a crown.

Permanent treatment in your situation is to go for an all ceramic crown which is more stable & has a lot of strength which will not break again in future.Stem cell technology is still very far fetched and it has been used to grow teeth in areas where a tooth is lost..it can't grow a part of your tooth.

Stem cells are not the ideal choice for your situation...a good composite filling will do the job..or else you can go for veneers or a crown...the word permanent often misguides you...longivity is a better term...generally veneers and crowns have better longivity than composites...

Hi Mam/Sir , stem cell therapy is not a right solution for your problem , generally composite bonding will last for sometime , I mean atleast for some years ,when properly done , but yes you need to be very carefully biting with front teeth , next permanent solution is going for veneers or laminates , even then you need to be cautious , Dr.Venkat VDENTIS DENTAL CARE , Hyderabad

I doubt stems cells could do anything... first visit a nearby dentist...ask him about laminates or veneers...which would b a gud option in your case

😊 please visit a good dentist and don't search Google too much... You don't need a stem cell treatment. A good dentist will easily do a bonding which will last for a long long time...

Hello. You can get a ceramic or composite veneer done for now. And after age 15 if you desire go for ceramic crown depending how much tooth structure is lost. Otherwise you can carry on with the veneers. Stem cells can not grow the broken part of any tooth. Plus they are still under research as to how much stem cells can be used in humans for dental problems .

Hi maam... The general treatment for chipped front teeth is having a tooth colored filling, also called composite filling done.. This is bonded to the teeth... However sometimes there is failure if you try to bite too hard with your front teeth.. Otherwise if care is taken from your side, the dental bonding goes on for a long time.... But if you still want a more permanent solution, get a veneer or cap done... Stem cells are not used for this purpose..

Please remember one thing.... The life of the filling or cap done on your teeth also depends on how much care you are also taking... You have to keep in mind that even though you have had a filling /veneer /cap on your tooth, you have to bite carefully... If you try to bite into hard stuffs, there are chances of failure... A bit of diet modification fron your side is required..
