Chest Pain
Since last few month i have a bit of stiffness in the left half of the chest. At times I feel pain going through the cross section, on the back as well as in front. The pain peaks badly at times, but is short termed. Although whenever it happens, there is a mild aching sensation which stays for quite a while. I have been smoking since past 5 years. And average about 20 smokes everyday.

Hi there...first and foremost you must stop smoking. That will only lead to all kinds of diseases. And secondly the pain you are describing over the chest could be due to several reasons like gastritis, pancreatitis, kidney stones, costochondritis, hepatitis. It will need a detailed work up. So kindly consult a general surgeon or physician for further evaluation.
