Chance of pregnancy regarding

Doctor, My wife had stomach pain for 3-4 days and vomiting also after lunch. But Now she feels completely fine and I guess she has also missed her period,it was 28th last month. Maybe she can wait to have her periods for few more days. So,I wanted to ask is there chance of pregnancy and What would be prevented measures for this? Thank you
