Cervix dilation and blood mucus
Hi all. I am in 36 weeks and had leg cramps and back ache yesterday so went to doctor today and she said labour pain has started and mentioned in the report as 2cm dilation. She did NST and sent me back saying when you get severe pain come to hospital and also informed that I am having blood mucus discharge she said dilation is happening once you get severe pain you can come. Can anyone please tell me when does delivery happens in this situation

You should have been in the hospital. I don't know why your Gynaecologist sent you back home in that condition. You may deliver any time.

If this is your first pregnancy, delivery may take time. However, please visit your doctor again and preferably get admitted for safe confinement.
