Please consult a Spine Specialist.the tingling in your hand is due to nerve compression.Probably C5-6 as the tingling is in thumb. You may require an MRI to confirm the diagnosis and asses the severity of the condition. Initially medicines and Physiotherapy will help. In a few resistant cases if symptoms get worse we may need to operate. (About 5% ) cases.
