Cause of cancer.
My father chew tobacco 2/3 times a day as well as takes liquor (mostly beer) once or twice a week. Which one should he quit first, so there is less chance of developing any kind of cancer?? Plz Tell. Thank You so much.

Ideally speaking he should quit both over period of time. But if one has to prioritize then should stop tobacco chewing first. If he finds it difficult then should starr nicotine chewing gums.    Once done with quiting tobacco completely then reduce quantity & frequency of alcohol.
Next Steps
Once in a year he should screen himself with: 1.chest x ray 2.ultrasound abdomen pelvis 3.serum PSA

Tobacco chewing causes cancer , everybody knows it. Quantity of alcohol intake is not alarming, you should allow once a week
