My chondromalasia patellae problem is almost cured now. The cause was imbalance between VMO and VL. I have gained the muscle strength and balance by physiotherapy. My doubt is although the patella tracking is aligned now but what about the damage of knee cartilage that occurrd due to poor patella tracking in last 1 yr?

If you don't have pain, then don't think about it. Just continue exercises. You should be fine.
