CANCER PREVENTION

My grandmother ..my mother and my uncle died of cancer....how much is cancer hereditary...if it is...how do i find out if i am genetically inclined to get cancer...what measures can i take to prevent it...like lower sugar intake that feeds cancer?...i am unaware so please help with the answer
