Can she have a baby ?
My wife had PCOS when we trying for our first baby. We consulted and doctor said this is common and nothing to worry and luckily after 15 days she got pregnant. In the 5th month of pregnancy my wife was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy and there was no option but to abort our baby. Following the trauma she went for Ayurvedic treatment for 6 months but it didnt work. We switched to allopathy but it was too late and her kidneys started failing. After few months of Dialysis she underwent Kidney Transplant (donated by her father) successfully. Now she has completed 2 years post transplant and has no health issues. Can she go for a pregnancy again? Can that affect her transplanted kidney ? What is advisable at this stage ?

Hello there we understand your feeling and your concern towards your wife too. Yes if a women has pcos it woukd be difficult to conceive but it is not impossible to conceive. It woukd be possible witht the intervention of the gynecologist and the medication would be injection which should be taken once a week. These injection are hormone which maintain the pregnancy. Ask your gynecologist for more information on this. Thank you

Kindly take a opinion from the nephrologist regarding whether she can take a chance of pregnancy.. As pregnancy have own effect on her health like high BP and all... First her health will be more concern..
