Can My Father go for the Covaxin

Hi Doctor, My father is on medication "EPILAN" from his childhood. I want to ask can he go for covaxin and if yes then which one is the best option covaxin or covid shield,Please suggest. Thankyou in advance.

Yes, he can take As per ICMR, both are good. Only thing he should take care of is, Vaccination can cause fever, which can cause epilepsy episode, hence give tab DOLO 650 mg thrice daily for 2 days atleast. Also, continue the seizure medicine.
