Can Disinfectant spray on food packaging
Hi My wife has sprayed disinfectant spray on the 10 kg bag of wheat flour and 5kg bag of rice from outside due to current pandemic My question is can spraying on packaging of aata (wheat flour) and rice bag, harmful chemicals may reach to food inside

Well it very depends on the kind of packaging.. Plastic package inhibits absorption...but paper packing may help absorption. For more queries please connect directly. Thanks.

Hi If the package bag is made of plastic and vacuum packet , then its safe to use the product.

Hello, If the packing of bag was proper and airtight then there is a minimum chance  that spray go inside the bag and causes any harmful effect by product.
Next Steps
Keep that bag in direct sunlight for at least 4 to 5 hours.

If the packaged is not opened, we'll sealed then spray may not reach.. It also depends on the packaging material and absorbency property too
