Can a pregnant woman take covid vaccine
I am 9 month pregnant and my due date is within a week can I take covid vaccine as a precautionary measure even though I dont have the disease and will it affect my baby in any case.If yes then can I take vaccine after delivery during lactation period?

You can take the vaccine during pregnancy or during lactation safely. FOGSI the federation of obstetrics & gynaecologist societies of India, recommends vaccination in lactating women and in pregnancy after the third month.

No as per present guidelines, pregnant and lactating women are not advised to take covid vaccine.... Just get the covid RTPCR done and take precautionary measures...

Covid vaccination is relativelycontraindicated in pregnant and lactating mothers. You can take vaccine once your child has discontinued breastfeeding.
