Hello.. since you are saying there was a cartilage defect in your knee you might need a surgery but depending upon the grade of the defect... calcium supplements won't help that much..

You may have a cartilage defect. But the treatment with supplements depends on the grade of defect.. Not all defects get better with supplements..
