Burning pain in legs

Asked for Female, 56 Years

My mother 57 years old is suffering from burning kind of pain in both of legs & waist. Feeling pain at day time also but at evening she feeling unbearable burning pain. She is not able to sleep after taking sleeping pills also. Is it neuro problem..pls suggest. Earlier she was stying in Kolkata now I called her in Bangalore. So pls. Suggest any good doctor in Bangalore. Regards, Rajeev

Burning pain in leg and waist is due to nerve damage also called as neuropathy....it may be due to many cause but DM is most coomon cause of neuropathy....other cause include due to vit b12 def and folate def...alcoholism..thyroid hormone deficiency....gb syndrome.....

investigation: rbs ....vit b12 assessment,thyroid profile,CBC...

treatment according to diagnosis: ultracet one tb twice a day.... neurokind plus one cap once a day. duloxetine one tb at night ....all for 15. days....
