Hello, This looks like a palatal swelling which could be caused due to Periapical infection from the tooth. Thought such swelling are uncommon on the roof of the mouth, it does present some times. Based only on the picture available, the other possible presentation could be related to minor salivary gland pathology. Since there is no history of usage of tobacco, tooth related infection should be ruled out prior to other considerations. If there is no source of infecting, then biopsy of the site to be considered to rule out pathological lesion.
Next Steps
Consult a dentist to rule out tooth related infection. If negative, consult a oral and Maxillofacial surgeon for biopsy of the site.
Health Tips
Palatal infections are usually painful once they start becoming bigger. Consider an in person evaluation at the earliest.
