Bump on the back of throat
I have a good size bump (or blister) on the back of my tongue. It is bumpy, kind of looks like a cluster of several bumps together. It's on the back of my tongue and actually touches my uvula. I have had it for 3 days and it hasn't hurt until a couple hours ago when it started hurting when I laughed. Every now and then, it will hurt if I swallow or drink but not all the time.

I doubt it must be some kind of allergic response. That is the place where u can't apply any gel to relieve pain.I advice u to visit any physician and get attended. I haven't seen the blister as u say.so I can't conclude what it is.But do not panic.Take care

If you go for the description that you have mentioned these seem like normal circumvallate papillae which are present in every person and contain taste buds. They can become more conspicuous if they are inflamed or if the tongue is coated with other deposits making them stand apart in visibility. You should first try the conservative approach of cleaning your tongue with a toothbrush after every time you brush your teeth and maintaining a good level of oral hydration. If you don't find relief of symptoms in two or three days you can consult a dentist for a proper clinical evaluation to rule out any secondary causes. Regards.

Hello, its difficult to diagnose your problem in the absence of any clinical pictures, however i will strongly suggest you to see a dentist at the earliest as you should not ignore any swelling, ulcer, or change in color of skin etc. And since its also hurting you, you have more reasons to personally see a dentist and get yourself examined.
