Bump on my knee
Last summer I fell on gravel while I was playing basketball, it was bleeding and some of the skin came off I tried stopping the bleeding with paper and I don't know if it's infected.
Please help

Greetings. You must Wash the area with antiseptic solution like betadine / savlon/ dettol and apply fusidic acid or mupirocin based cream. Get a dressing done if wound appears raw. Also would be advisable to take a tetanus toxoid injection if not taken in the last 5 years.Hope this helps. Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal, Bengaluru.
