Since the fracture had happened during your growing age, it might have completely healed in that way, leaving little scope for further mobilisation of joint either in conservative approach or surgical approach. Certain points will be helpful for your exercise schedule. - resistance bands and tubes may be used to tone before going to weight training, as it tones muscles very well in the end ranges. -make strengthening a long term goal and do more repetitions with lesser resistance than increasing the resistance/weights. -avoid closed chain activities like push-ups. -avoid supination pronation movement with heavy resistance. -consider neuro-muscular gain exercises using oscillatory bars, flex bars, gyro balls under a physiotherapist for better results.
Health Tips
mal-union of fracture is a predisposing factor for arthritis. so avoid abuse with heavy weights.
