Breathing problems with Codeine
I was prescribed 30mg codeine for pain. I have had problems with codeine before including a tight chest but my GP was dismissive saying it's not a true allergic reaction. I took codeine before bed recently and 2 hours later I woke up with chest pain and I had no urge to inhale breathe, I had to force myself. I do not have a respiratory condition.

Codeine is not available now in the Indian markets..pls check the content of the syrup and get back to us ASAP.. chest thightness can be a symptom of another problem actually..
