Firstly your child is not alone. 10 percent or more of children have allergic cough or Asthma . Nowadays there is well defined treatment for the condition. Inhaler treatment is the main treatment recommended for it , because it has less side effects compared to oral medication, and can be repeated more often if needed. Using the correct treatment, the child will be able to play all games, will be able to sleep properly, and will not be absent from school often. Please visit your Paediatrician or Pulmonologist , who will advise the correct medication
