Dear Mom, you are not having enough milk because nature designed it that way. Your baby is entering a period of increased activity, lower mass growth but brain heavy activities will dominate, and 'development' like acquiring motor milestones in quick succession-Sitting, crawling, standing walking take centrestage. These may not mean much to you but what you must know that the baby's demands have not only increased but a qualitative change in his intake is a must. That in short means, milk will increasingly fail to provide all the demands. He must have teeth iin a month and that needs loads of calcium and vitamin D, his haemoglobin will soon fall down to lowest ever in life , and iron must be added to his diet. All this can't be done by continuing on breast milk. Start feeding the baby and continue what you get from the breast.
Next Steps
meet a specialist for complementary feed counselling.
Health Tips
do not take revenge on your baby by switching to another milk cow, buffalo, formula. if milk was to be his forte nature would not have curtailed it.
