Greetings from all of us here. While it is unfortunate that you have some issues with your bite, it is heartening to know that you are seeking advice and thinking on taking corrective measures. What you would need is a good Orthodontist & Dentofacial Orthopaedist. As with any product or service the fees varies according to techniques used, materials, skill, practice philosophies, experience, etc. Thus, we strongly suggest that one not look into it as one of the few top criteria one takes into account, as the effect of unknowns and apparent costs come into play, with your interest in mind. Hence, we would very strongly suggest that you short list a few highly qualified orthodontists and meet them in person to get a view of how it would be to interact with the office for the three to four years of treatment time. Your relationship with your orthodontist matters big time, thus the connect is imporatant. The consultation you pay & the time and diligence you put in when you visit these offices will pay for itself when you have chosen a good Orthodontist. It is also quite possible that, the bite & canine issues you have might not be satisfactorily treated with the techniques you have mentioned. Only a through clinical exam would enable that to be determined. This is just so that you are not fixated on any particular approach. What is highly important is the technique that is most suitable to treat your situation. The treatment should be customised to you not the other way. So, we strongly suggest you vist a few well qualified  orthodontists and then take your call as you will be armed with enough information to take a call with bias being ruled out. Wishing you the best & a great time while you are receiving the orthodontic treatment. It is indeed one of the good moments
