Visited doctor a day before for BP 172/114 medication taken S.Numo and Telma 40mg still bp not controlled he is showing no symptoms no Headache no pain in body only after measuring we got to know . What to do now as he is saying he is fine but the machine is showing normal bp for everyone else only his is increased.

Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to control the BP after starting the medicine.If still remain high,he may need a increase in the dose or addition.Though he is asymptomatic high BP is a risk factor.

Bp immediately wont be coming down as soon as you take the tablet .
