Boils from last 8 months
Doctor im facing issue of boils from last 8 months for the same i was taking augmentin 625mg for 15 days and one clobiderm-f ointment. After first 3-4 days of taking medicines my boils suppose to recover but after finishing 15 days course they suppose to come back in new place evrytime in leg. This is happening from last 8 months. Today i visited to a derma he prescribed me few medicines and adviced me for homeoglobin and blood sugar fasting test for which im going tomorrow but from the time he written sugar test im very much tensed. My father is having blood sugar so if in test it comes out either less or more so does it means im a sugar patient for lyf tym and ive to take sugar medicine through out my lyf lyk my father does. Or this test is just for my problem and have nothing to do with blood sugar and can be treated within few weeks or months.

Hello! I suppose you are having repeated furuncles which is a bacterial infection. Clobiderm f contains high potency steroid which is not given for pure bacterial infections. That may be one reason for recurrence. Blood sugar tests should be done for recurrent furunculosis. If blood sugar are high at times only lifestyle modification can bring sugar back to normal. Take a complete course of antibiotics as prescribed by this doctor. Avoid massaging the affected area with oil.
