Body didn't grow
I'm 22 years old male, and currently facing PTSD because at the age of 18, I used 2 medicines which is practin and dexona, because an idiot pharmacist gave me to increase weight, and I didn't have that much time to research about it...so i took it for 4 month,2-2 tablets daily at morning and at night...i gained lot of wait and got stretch marks, and later i researched about it that it's corticosteroids, so i stop taking it slowly...but since that I didn't grow, i can understand about height, but my my torso is very very narrow like a modern girl, my waist is 27 inch only and also narrow chest(31 inch)and it looks like teenager's body, not like man, I feel shame walking outside, I had read somewhere that withdrawal of corticosteroid causes permanent stunt of growth, so is this the reason? My height also stop and horizontal growth too, and now I get very angry when i think about that medicines, so the main question is this happening because of corticosteroid?

Hi! Your height to chest ratio is ideal which measured as 31 inches. Growth failure is a known cause with long term use of steroid therapy more so with dexona (which is a long acting steroid). However, your height potential also depends on the heights of your parents ([height of mother in inches + height of father in inches]/2) + 2.5 inches. You fall in the 40 to 50%ile range for an Indian male which is slightly below the average but not unhealthy or abnormal. Usually, most boys stop growing by the age of 16-18, so if anything you might have lost an inch or half in height. There can be other reasons affecting your stature if your parent's height is more than yours. However, there is need for some counseling here and I will suggest you to seek a consultation.
Next Steps
There is no need to be embarrassed or ashamed of your stature. Your stature is not abnormal.
