Blumox CA dry syrup is usually good if your child is having productive cough. It's an antibiotic and is used for host of infections (hence should be used judiciously) .
You should consult a doctor before giving any medicine to your child as dose needs to be calculated based on his weight and age. Some medicines may adversely affect the growth and development of the child if used injudiciously.
