Blood sugar value observed first time
Hi, I am a female with age 40 years.i have thyroid and using medication with power dosage of 75 mg power.i don't have sugar earlier.in the recent 1 month I lost the weight and not felling active and feeling tired always. I went for check up thinking that thyroid is increased. The results from the tests are as below. Thyroid test results: Thyroid stimulating hormone--8.6 uiu/ml Total thyroxine(T4)--- 10.2 ug/DL Total triido thyroxine(T3)---113 Ng/DL blood and urine test results: Heamoglobin gms : 8.5/58% Blood sugar(R)---320 mg/DL The above tests was made after the break fast. And it has been said that sugar was observed in both blood and urine. This is the first time I came to know dat I have diabetic. Can you please suggest what are the precautions to take from now or kindly suggest what are the next steps/tests that I can go for.

Your thyroxine dose need to be increase. Your blood sugar level is quite high and symptoms will reduce once you get optimum control of blood sugar levels and TSH. It is advisable you can get HbA1c test i.e approx last 3 months blood sugar average test. Meet any good diabetologist in your area for further treatment

avoid mango chikoo banana grapes custurd apple. avoid juices avoid refined floor maida products. restrict intake of salt. eat more green leafy vegetables daily walk for 40 mins eat more of fibre diet and fruits like apple oranges guava pear peaches kiwi and berries. start medication and follow healty diet
