Blood pressure
Last 4 days but blood pressure in morning is high 160/96 but in morning it is 110/70 . My age is 67 I am taking asomex 2.5 tablet twice a day.i am feeling little weainess with light headache in morning. After taking asomex 2.5 in morning, feels better.

HTN, benign SX – Often none, HA, n/v, seizure, visual, CP, SOB. PE – Eyes (retinopathy), CV, Full. BP Stage 1: > 140/90 (monotherapy). BP Stage 2: > 160/100 (two meds).
Next Steps
DX – Standard Panel. CBC, CMP, Lipids, U/A w/ MAU, HbA1C, TSH/FT4, Vit D, PSA (if male). EKG, UDS, Renal U/S. if nec Echo, CXR (LVH), CT Head.

Stage 1: HCTZ 12.5 to 50 mg orally once daily, OR Benazepril 10-40 mg orally once daily (Diabetic patient, inc MAU), OR Metoprolol 50 mg orally (regular-release) twice daily (if HR is high), OR Amlodipine 2.5 mg PO QD (older patient, PVD, CAD).
