The most common cause of epistaxis, or nose bleed , is picking or rubbing the nose . Children try cleaning the dried secretions, sometime involuntarily or in their sleep too . A common cold or nasal allergy may be coexisting . Other less common causes are also there . It's best to visit a Pediatrician, and get your doubts cleared .
