Blood in Stools

Bright red color in Stools. Mixed with stools on surface of it. On first it come in liquid form(very little). No pain on stomach or rectal area. But after the bleeding I feel uncomfortable (maybe a mental thing) It is the second time in a month. With 30 days difference in both bleedings. I dont want any tube or camera to be inserted on my anus.

Maybe due to fissures secondary to constipation...hard stools or constipation can be treated with conservative dietary adjustments...fiber rich food helps in preventing constipation as it doesn’t get digested, plays an important role in your digestion...If you lack enough fiber in your diet, your stool can become stagnate, dry and hard. Increasing your fiber intake will help promote soft and bulky stool. Foods that are fiber-rich include beans, fruits, whole grains, beans and vegetables....in adequate fluid content in your diet can make stools hard and get impacted... Drink plenty of water, coconut water, fruit juice etc...Regular physical activity can stimulate your digestive system, promoting more frequent bowel movements...so exercise atleast 2 hours a day...Consult nearest surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello there.

I can understand your concern.
Make diet changes.
Have a high fiber diet, avoid oily and spicy foods. Drink plenty of fluids.
Kindly consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management. Piles needs to be ruled out.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil kumar jain.
